Update on the Covid-19 protocols at Victoria Vet Clinic, as of April 7

From all our staff, we’d like to thank everyone for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times. Although Saskatchewan is beginning to slowly transition to normal, for now the no contact, curbside protocols at the clinic will remain the same.

We are doing our best to see and help as many pets as possible. We are focusing our time on appointments that are of a more urgent matter, while still being cautious for the safety of ourselves, you and your pets.

A few things to remember:

*Upon arrival, call us from your vehicle. Please do not line up at the door, as this makes it difficult for others to maintain proper social distancing. If you do not have a cellphone please phone before coming, so we know to expect you and can have your supplies ready ahead of time.

*Due to limited staffing and extended phone line use, you may have to wait on hold for few minutes or call again when a line is available. We will get to you as soon as possible.

*When you’re here for an appointment it is requested that you wait in your vehicle, outside of the clinic, for the duration of the appointment. We know it can be tedious, but this allows us to get your pet back to you and the next pet in as efficiently as possible.

*We are not allowing clients into the building, other than for special circumstances (such as end of life appointments). In these situations, we require that you wear some sort of functional mask.

*If you are feeling ill or have recently traveled, but need goods or services from the clinic, we’d appreciate that you ask a family or friend to pick up/drop off in your place.

*We are not taking cash payments. However, you are able to pay over the phone with a credit-card or debit-visa, preferably. If unable to pay over the phone, we can provide a debit machine in the foyer.

*Our hours are still extended from 8:00am until 7:00pm with a closed lunch break from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, seven days a week and Closed for holidays.

We will post new updates when current protocols begin to change. We hope to increase our limited staff situation soon, as cases of Covid-19 continue to be low, and look forward to returning to a more normal work environment.

We are so grateful for your continued support! We’re all in this together!
