TheresaTech
Theresa

Lead Veterinary Technologist

Theresa grew up in Regina, where her passion for animals was nurtured by her parents, who raised, bred, and showed Miniature Dachshunds, rabbits, and Speckle Park Cattle. This early exposure to animal care inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary technology.

To turn her passion into a profession, Theresa enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at SIAST Kelsey Campus, graduating in 2003. She joined the Victoria Veterinary Clinic team in 2004 and has been an integral part of the clinic ever since.

Theresa is Fear Free Elite Certified, ensuring that her approach to animal care prioritizes the emotional well-being of pets. She is also the primary technician responsible for administering laser therapy treatments, helping pets recover comfortably and effectively.

Outside of work, Theresa enjoys life with her husband, Jeff, and their son, Monte. Their home is shared with a lovable English Springer Spaniel named Claire and two cats, Sky and Dylan.

ErinTech
Erin

Erin graduated from SIAST Kelsey Campus as a Veterinary Technologist in June 2009, completing her national exam shortly after. She has been a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist at Victoria Veterinary Clinic ever since. Her commitment to animal welfare is evident in her distinction as an Elite Fear Free Certified Professional, a title that reflects her exceptional ability to provide low-stress, high-quality care.

In recognition of her passion and expertise, Erin was honoured with the 2023 RVT of the Year award, a prestigious title open to veterinary technologists across North America.

Outside of work, she cherishes her time with her two sons and her three rescue cats: Emma, Sophie, and Jewel.

Over the years, Erin’s appreciation for clinical pathology has deepened immensely. It’s a field she’s grown to love not just for its intellectual challenges, but for the tangible impact it has on patient care. What began as a mere academic interest has blossomed into a passion, as she’s become increasingly adept at deciphering the subtle clues hidden within a blood smear or a tissue sample. This journey has not only enriched her understanding but has also made her a more competent and confident professional in the field.

Nicole
Nicole

Nicole graduated from Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta, in 2014 and loved every minute of it! She has spent time working at a couple of practices, both with large and small animals.

At home, Nicole has a menagerie of animals! The entire group lives comfortably in Regina and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Her favourite pastimes are hanging out with her four-legged friends, curling up with a good book, and spending time at the lake.

Tristen
Tristen

Tristen joined the clinic in April 2016 as a kennel assistant. His love and passion for animals played a large part in his decision to apply for a job within the clinic. Tristen currently lives with his mom, dad, and sister until such time that he can attend school at the University of Saskatchewan. He currently has four cats, Sammey, Sparky, Oreo, and Tic-Tac. They all have their own unique personalities, from shy, loving, and moody to playful and curious. His passion is working hard in his current position; he hopes to one day achieve his goal of becoming a veterinarian.

TeighlorAssistant
Teighlor

Teighlor was born and raised in Prince Albert, where her love of animals developed at a young age. As a small child, you’d often be able to find her exploring the outdoors, collecting rocks, looking for ant colonies and attempting to bring stray animals home. According to Teighlor, frogs were definitely strays in need of a home, though her mother would disagree. When she wasn’t outside, she’d be watching Steve Irwin and David Attenborough documentaries on the TV, affectionately exclaiming, “That’s what I want to do when I grow up”.

When Teighlor was 16, she moved to Regina with her parents. Over the years, Teighlor has grown quite fond of Regina. She has been able to build her own suburban zoo. Teighlor currently lives with four salamanders (Dirt, Mole, Worm, Spazz) and two turtles (Ponyo, Sherbet), as well as her three beloved cats. Noctis is an affectionate and mischievous black cat. Juniper is a calico with an official veterinary diagnosis of “diva-itis”. Ichigo is an orange tabby who may not like being touched, but loves lying next to you.

When Teighlor isn’t cleaning up a mess from a four-legged friend, she enjoys reading, video games, movies and drawing. She’s a bit of a geek. Teighlor is enthusiastic about being a part of the Victoria Veterinary Clinic team as a new Vet Assistant and aspires to one day become a Certified Vet Tech!

BrandeeAssistant
Brandee

Brandee has always had a love for animals. She grew up in Regina and lived in Moose Jaw for a few years as a teenager. She had rabbits for pets growing up, but had always wanted a dog. When she moved out and bought her first home, she adopted a Pitbull mix named Tael and a cat named Mio. In her spare time, she likes to collect and play video games. Brandee spends a lot of her free time hanging with Tael or cuddled up on the couch binge-watching TV.

Lucas
Lucas

Lucas was born and raised in Regina, SK. When he was younger, he remembers begging his parents for a dog (to no avail). At 16 years old, he moved out on his own and got his very first dog, a blue heeler named Binx. Lucas graduated from high school in 2016. Since then, Lucas has worked in the customer service industry while trying to decide what he would like to go to school for. Lucas’ love for helping others has made him want to take the paramedic course in the future.

Currently, Lucas and his girlfriend of four years live together with their six-year-old rescue dog, Nixon, a goofy lab-staffy mix and the life of the party. They actively foster cats from Regina Cat Rescue. In his spare time, Lucas likes to play with his dog Nixon, keep his foster cat entertained, read, watch his Netflix list that seems to never end, and hang out with friends and family. Lucas is happy to join the Victoria Veterinary Clinic as an assistant!

Rennell
Rennell

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Rennell grew up in Regina, SK, spending much of her childhood at her cousins’ farm, where she developed a deep appreciation for rural life and animal care. Weeks at a time were spent outdoors helping with horses, cattle, chickens, and whatever other animals happened to stumble into the farm needing help. She began riding horses at the age of six, embarking on countless memorable adventures that shaped her lifelong connection to animals. From those early experiences, her passion for animal welfare has only continued to grow.

Rennell met her fiancé in high school, and together they are raising two children while sharing their home with a lively crew of animals — a Cane Corso named Kratos, a Siberian Husky named Bia, and a cat named Trap. She looks forward to one day passing down the same farm-rooted upbringing she cherished by owning a farm of her own and giving her children the opportunity to grow up surrounded by animals.

Since 2022, Rennell has been a dedicated member of the team at Victoria Veterinary Clinic, where she began her career as a Veterinary Assistant. In 2026, her leadership, commitment, and strong clinical skills earned her a promotion to Lead Veterinary Assistant. In her role, she combines hands-on experience with compassionate care, ensuring both patients and their families feel supported and confident every step of the way.

AndyAssistant
Andy

Andy was born and raised in Regina, SK, and always had a passion for animals. She grew up with two Boston terriers and now has a Jack Russell Terrier named Lucy (who has as much attitude as cuteness). One day, Andy would like to have the floppiest Basset Hound around with as much stubbornness and sass as she does.

In the fall, Andy will be attending school to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. In the future, she hopes to be able to advocate for animals that are misunderstood and assist any animals that need support or someone to speak up for them.

In Andy’s spare time, she trains in Kung Fu, where she is the first female black belt and first female lion dancer that her school has ever had. She also writes poetry, has a passion for reading and art, and generally likes to cause good-natured chaos in her friend group.

MaddieAssistant
Madison

Madison was born and raised in Regina, SK, which is where she met her husband. Together, they have fostered, rescued, and adopted many animals. She currently has two dogs: Lizzie, the corgi, and Raz, the Heinz 57. As for their other pets, they have a green cheek conure named Fern and a crested gecko named Beans. If there’s anything you can say about Maddi, it is her love for any kind of animal, no matter the size.

Outside of work, she spends her time building wooden projects with her husband (their favourite is the picnic table pontoon boat that is solar powered), but she enjoys many crafting activities, from crocheting to Cricut-ing to sewing and quilting, to everything in between. She also enjoys gaming on many different platforms with many different types of gaming. She also loves to pick up a good book and reads for hours on end. No matter what she is doing, you will either see her dogs at her feet or her bird on her shoulder.

Before working at Victoria Veterinary Clinic, as a vet assistant, she was working in the grooming industry, and then she spent two years doing school photography. She still has a passion for taking photos and does it on the side from time to time. Her biggest passion is animals. She regularly grooms multiple friends, family, and recommended people. She loves the small clientele that brings their dogs and cats to her. Her happy place is with animals.

She hopes to one day open a boarding facility on their farm just outside of Regina, where she will have boarding, doggy daycare, and grooming options. This has always been one of her dreams: helping anxious/nervous animals calm down in a smaller, less “animally” space. It keeps the stress down when there are fewer animals.

Jahnaya
Jahnaya

Jahnaya was born in Prince Albert and has resided in many places across Saskatchewan, including North Battleford and Regina. Her love for animals stemmed from her time spent at her grandparents’ farm, helping feed the horses and cattle from a very young age. It is at the farm where she also found her exceptional work ethic and ability to develop her skills working with animals. Her childhood dog was a 12-year-old German Shepherd named “Hunter,” and presently, she has two Aussie doodles named “Oakley” and “Cedar.” Her aspiration is to graduate from high school in 2026 and pursue a career in the medical field. She has always found a connection with helping people and animals and hopes to make a difference in their lives.

Orianna

Orianna has had the privilege to grow up all around Saskatchewan. Her interest in animal care sparked from her grandparents’ farm. Her deep love for animals and their well-being ignited her passion to become a veterinarian. She began working in emergency vet medicine and now has experience in a general practice.

Animals have always been a huge part of Hailey’s life. She now has three dogs who are just as goofy, loud and loving as she is!

Jaxx, her oldest, is a Husky / Shepherd / Pitbull / Bulldog mix; Mika, the middle, is a Norwegian Elkhound; and the youngest, Utah, is a Siberian Husky / Chocolate Lab mix. They run her world, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

When Hailey is not at the clinic, she likes to spend quality time with her furry little family, movie marathons, gaming, baking, hiking with the dogs and travelling the world.

Since joining us as a Receptionist in August of 2021, she couldn’t imagine working anywhere else!

Cheyenne was raised in Regina and grew up loving animals. Throughout her childhood, her family had a cat named Rocky that lived through three moves with her. After losing him in 2017, she filled the cat-shaped hole in her heart with two new cats, Bubbles, a stereotypical orange cat and Neptune, a frightful and uncertain grey cat. After moving out and taking the duo with her, she has accumulated a zoo, and her passion for animals has only grown.

From 2019, when she adopted Bubbles and Neptune, to today, she now has 14 pets. In addition to the duo, she has Husk, a Tuxedo cat; Jerry, an Albino Rat; Theri, an African Fat-Tailed Gecko; Blitzo, a crested gecko; Asmodeus, a Het Clown Ball Python; Ducky, a Banana Yellow-Belly Ball Python; Obsidian, a Mexican Black King Snake; Stolas, an Albino Corn Snake; Mushu, an Orange Corn Snake; Nifty, a Southern Pine Snake; Ephemera, a Leucistic Texas Rat Snake; and Zestial, a Carpet Python.

As you can imagine, there’s never a dull moment. From working in the clinic, to spending time with her Boyfriend and seeing family, to taking care of her mini zoo, but she loves every minute of it!
